The Milan Revolution

Ac Milan is one of the world biggest teams and franchises, with Silvio Berlusconi strategy of re-building the team on a ten year basis. 2010 have been a turn over in AC Milan roster with players like Ibrahimović, Boateng and Robinho coming in to the team despite losing Kaka to Madrid last year which was a good decision to me by Galliani. Kaka is not the same player he once was, not the Kaka who lead Milan to win the Champion League in 2007. By selling him to a club that in my opinion have the stupidest Chairman ever was a win for Milan.

Starting the new season off with a new manger and a new main man was a risky thing to do by Berlusconi. After the first part of the season Milan was dominating the Serie A and they advanced trough to the second round of the Champion League. But Berlusconi did not want to stop there he simply wanted to destroy Inter and Moratti. He then bought Italian wonder kid Cassano from Sampdoria and got a great deal both on Bayern skipper Van Bommel and Ajax winger Emanuelson for a free transfer. After Maldini departure two years ago, Milan needed a full-back that can stay on for the next 5-6 years so they went out looking for one and the like of Criscito and Ziegler came up, but in the end none of the Liguria's side decided to sell. They had to look for a left-back somewhere else. Didac Vila name appeared, and this is just the player they needed a player who can deliver for a long time and he surly can be one of the best in the near future.

The question is can Milan win the league after seven years? Can Ibrahimović, Robinho and Cassano lead them into glory? how far can they can go in the Champions league?

  2. It would be interesting to see how would Milan play against the Spurs in the CL. Especially since Inter had trouble against them in the group stages!

  3. Yes. but the question here is can they keep the good work going? or its just a phase? i think the'll win something this year (most probably the league) but the real test is next season when Inter are back on their best form.
